Karl franks

Karl started his martial arts journey at the age of 10 years old training in Boxing then moving to kickboxing, training under European champion James Russell and WKO World champion Denzil “Deadly Lawrence” karl competed in point scoring karate at a high level moving on to full contact where he competed at a international level representing Wales -18s 

He started JIU-JITSU in 2009 in Cardiff under multiple world and ADCC champion Braulio Estima black belt Chris Rees (Wales very first black belt)

Karl then moved to train under UFC veteran and SBG black belt Jason Tan of MMA academy Liverpool who is still his coach today.

Karl made the first 100 list of Welsh black belts achieving the rank in early 2022
